The Osun State government has warned politicians it will not permit any lawlessness and politics of violence in the state.

The is coming days after Adelowo Adebiyi, the Chairman of The Osun Progressives (TOP), a caucus within the All Progressives Congress alleged that there had been an attempt at assassinating leaders of the splinter group by the government of Adegboyega Oyetola.

Congressional Republicans are calling for Attorney General Merrick Garland to stand down after the National School Boards Association (NSBA) apologized for its controversial letter urging the administration to investigate school board opposition.

House Oversight and Reform Committee Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., said on Tuesday that when people of color are in danger, they don’t call activists and politicians, they call the police.
